Após muita polêmica, babado e confusão envolvendo o nome de Inês Brasil, que explicamos nesse outro post aqui, o que até levou os organizadores a bloquearem a página do Facebook no Brasil, finalmente saíram os indicados à 58ª edição do Grammy Awards.
Conforme o esperado, Taylor Swift aparece com oito indicações, incluindo "Álbum do Ano", "Melhor Clipe", "Canção do Ano" e "Gravação do Ano", seguida de Kendrick Lamar, indicado a categorias como "Álbum do Ano" pelo To Pimp A Butterfly e indicações indiretas nos casos em que "Bad Blood" dessa primeira aparece. Mark Ronson, Ed Sheeran, Florence + The Machine e The Weeknd também estão entre os destaques.
Vale lembrar que o período elegível entre os candidatos vão para os materiais lançados entre 1º de outubro de 2015 até 30 de setembro de 2016, o que explica porque algumas canções e discos do ano passado foram contemplados e alguns lançamentos mais recentes (o 25 de Adele, por exemplo), não.
